Cape Town
Greenpoint Stadium was one of the stadiums built specifically for the 2010 World Cup. It was, apparently on FIFAs request placed in one of the more sought after places in Cape Town despite most (if not all) locals agreed that the smarter choice would have been to upgrade the stadium in Athlone. So when the tv cameras does a sweep to show you glorious views of Table Mountain, Devils Peak, Lions Head say a quiet thank you to bigwigs at FIFA.
When the World Cup has packed up and left the stadium will (most likely) be used by the local football team Ajax Cape Town and possibly also for rugby
