Having to find a job doesn't have to be such a stressful task and there is a plethora of agencies and web sites set up to help you find the best vacancies has to offer.

Our recommendations are by no means intended to be the conclusive list of the City of Cape Town (nor the Western Cape) resources to find a job, but it should provide you with a goodplace to start from.

A quick survey around the office gives us the first few recommendations of where to get your CV seen: pnet.co.za claims to be 'South Africa's number one job board'. Our own little research got three replies from our tester CV; two seemingly just fishing but one was an actual lead for a real job.
Next one to mention is careerweb.co.za (specialising in ICT jobs). The registration process is quite cumbersome (as was pnet) but eventually our CV has been uploaded and is ready to be discovered. It takes a little bit longer to get our first respond but it arrived. Also with careerweb you do get a statistic about how many has viewed your CV.

There are, of course, many web sites for Cape Town recruitment with new ones shooting up seemimgly every week. We didn't look at agencies as there are too many and, for our money, the advice would be to find out about agencies specialising in recruitment within your field.
